Dej Loaf “Try Me”

Dej Loaf “Try Me”

Deja Trimble was born in Detroit Michigan on April 8, 1991. She grew up with musical influences ranging from 2Pac to Miles Davis. She came onto the hip hop scene in 2011 and her first mixtape “Just Do it” dropped in 2012. This drew the attention of SAYITAINTTONE, another Detroit rapper, who later signed her to his label IBGM (I Been Gettin’ Money). Dej Loaf dropped “Try Me” on us in July 2014, but it took the song a little while to get attention. The Detroit rapper can actually thank a Canadian artist for propelling her song. Drake had quoted lyrics from “Try Me” in one of his Instagram posts and the song soon blew up! Since then, Dej Loaf has signed to Columbia Records, and recently gained more momentum when she appeared with Eminem and crew on “Detroit vs Everybody”.
