While on tour in Cali’s Bay Area, M-Dot delivers a new twist on the 360º experience with “Give It To Me.” The veteran spitter continues with his innovative music videos after tremendous success with “123 Flow“. This “little planet” perspective takes the viewer on a trip like no other. Enjoy.
M-Dot “Give It To Me”
The visuals traverse Northern California, including rocky terrain of the Pacific Coast, the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, and both Oakland and San Francisco city backdrops. The track features production from Jon Glass, with cuts provided by DJ LP-2.
We also catch an appearance at Fuzz Deluxxe Studio’s in Oakland where M-Dot and G Koop (most recent production credits include “I Got The Keys” for DJ Khaled/Jay-Z/Future) collaborated on another style of 360º music videos. “Night Terrors,” is a production exclusive by G Koop & O-man featuring M-Dot, as the viewer gets a glimpse of a full arrangement start to finish.
“When I wrote the track I had a lot of built up angst that I felt needed to be poured out. I’ve felt a chip on my shoulder my whole life, most of the time it’s something I created (the “enemy” of course symbolic of pride) in order to feed myself fuel to work harder. Nevertheless, if respect wasn’t given, this song was evoking my sentiment that it be taken/earned one way or another. Far as the video goes….our main goal was to avoid doing anything like the first 360° we did. To us, it’s all about growth and it would be lame to repeat the same formula. Was a super fun shoot, albeit most people laughing at me I’m sure as I walked through Oakland streets strapped with a stick/device that held the 7 go-pros haha.”

“Give It To Me” comes on the heels of M-Dot’s most recent smash, the video/track “Dreamscape,” produced by Marco Polo, and the scheduled release of his debut ‘egO anD The eneMy‘ on January 27th, 2017.
